Cruise Line "abandons" passengers

Context is important. The "abandoned" guests were on private tours or a port "on your own" tour and didn't return in time for the last tender. That's totally on them, not the cruise line. I highly recommend always booking excursions thru the cruise line because the ship will wait if that cruise line tour is late.
