We have some big cruise line news to cover this week. We are now seeing cruise cancellations into 2021. MSC's first sailing has returned and we are going to tell you everything that went great and not so great. So check out our cruise news today for all that and more. Many people have been asking when will cruise line reopening happen. We have heard a lot of cancellations for 2020 but we are now starting to hear cancellations into 2021. Princess cruises has cancelled sailings for two of their ships through to early 2021. These sailings all have stops in North or South America. The reasons they gave is limitations with borders and port access, government decisions related to COVID19, and air travel restrictions. Princess is not the only cruise line seeing big changes into the start of 2021. Cunard has also cancelled all their ships through to March 2021. This is a big cruise line news update for them as they have changed all their itineraries for next year. They have changed their itineraries to focus on Europe and the Mediterranean. If this is something you would be interested in they are going to be available September 29th, 2020. Another big cruise news update is that MSC has completed their first sailing since March. The MSC Grandiosa set sail for a 7 day Mediterranean cruise on August 16th. Overall the cruise was a success and COVID free. There was lots of social distancing, hand sanitizer and COVID testing but it was also quiet and relaxing. MSC was very strict about following their port protocols and when a family broke the rules they were refused boarding. MSC is focused on everyones safety and it is important to ensure these protocols are being followed. On August 23rd the Grandiosa left for its next sailing, and a passenger did test positive before boarding. They were denied boarding as well as everyone in their travel party, and all the people who travelled to the terminal in the same van. As the cruise line resume sailing it is so important that these policies are being followed. A lot of people still do not trust cruising so the more successful sailings they have the better. We hope that you liked our cruise line updates. What are your thoughts about cruising in 2021? Have you already booked sailings? Thank you so much for watching.
