Unfortunately, nothing firm was forthcoming, and instead the travel and cruising ban has been extended through to March 2021. In other news, Princess Cruises have committed to a fully Medallion Class fleet when they resume cruising in mid 2021, though the Pacific Princess has been curiously left out of the list of the ships receiving the new features. Quantum of the Seas resumed cruising after a health scare, continuing its 3 and 4 night cruises to nowhere exclusively operated from Singapore, for Singaporean residents. The 83 year old passengerโs false positive proved popular in the media, but it did also allow Royal Caribbean to test the efficacy of their system when things donโt go right. The ex Pacific Dawn joins the ex Pacific Jewel, the two sisters meeting their demise together. After a horror 2020 for travel, these two ex P&O Australia ships are officially being scrapped. The ships are only just hitting 30 years old, which is quite young in the scope of ocean going vessels, especially of that magnitude.
