EU Cruise Guidelines to resume cruising has been issued! Lots of Cruise News this week and were going to go through all the recommendations that the EU Healthy Gateways made for cruising to resume and the impacts on passengers. The document that was released is a huge 49 page in-depth look at the changes that need to happen to reduce the risk of cruising for passengers, crew and ports. This is important cruise line news as all major cruise lines want to reduce the risks to ensure everyones safety. We thoroughly went through the document to bring all the important information to you. To make it easier we broke the information into two sections 1) changes for passengers and 2) changes for cruise operators. When talking about cruise lines reopening we wanted to make sure you got all the information you need to make an informed decision for you and your family. Right from pre-boarding you are going to notice changes. We go over high risk travellers, exclusion policies, and the screening process. The next section we look at is what will cruising be like on board. This is cruise news latest information for possible changes we will experience day to day while sailing. We go over physical distancing, hand washing, food service, activities, face masks and excursions. The biggest point of contention we have seen is the use of face coverings. Will you cruise if you have to wear a mask in some areas on the ship? Some passengers have had positive experiences their cruise cancellation while others have decided they won't be cruising again. Our friend made a decision not to cruise again until they are confident in cruise updates to prevent the spread of illnesses.
