Cruise News: Royal Caribbean and Juneau in a Public Battle - What's Going On?

the town was uh proposing cruise-free Saturdays in an effort to you know, give the town's people uh in Juno a day where they could take their families out and enjoy uh the city.

Royal Caribbean was uh supporting, you know, the folks against that proposal. And as a matter of fact, they donated money. I believe they put forth a $75,000 uh donation.

the town of Alaska, uh, passed, you know, an initiative to increase the docking fees, and it's now, uh, associated with uh, the number of passengers on the ship versus, uh, gross tonnage
