Our stop in Basseterre, St. Kitts took an unexpected turn! We started the day with breakfast in the MDR before heading out for a sweet & savory culinary class, where we made rum cupcakes, jerk chicken, pineapple salsa, and peas & rice. On the way, we took in the stunning views from Timothy Hill Overlook, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. After lunch, we returned to Icon of the Seas and spent some time at the Swim & Tonic swim-up bar—until the pool was shut down due to poop in the water! 😱 We recovered with a hot tub session, enjoyed a Caribbean dinner in the MDR, and had a blast at the glow-in-the-dark mini-golf competition (Laurie took 2nd place! 🏆).
