Cruise Port Guide - Key West Florida

We are heading to the most southern point in the US, Key West Florida. This city is beautiful with a mix of Caribbean and American influences. This city is easy to explore on your own or do an excursions. Join us as we give you a full Key West Florida Travel guide so you are prepared for your day at port. Usually for our port tours we focus on what is at the port, at Key West Florida Cruise Port there isnt that much of a port as you are put right in the city. So we will go over the port and what to expect but also what is around the port and some popular attractions. When you arrive at the Key West Florida Port there are three possible cruise ship docks you could be stopping at. The most popular one is Pier B which is where we docked and is part of the Weston Resorts Private marina. You could also dock at Mallory Square right in the old town and is a popular spot for catching the sunset. The last option if there are a lot of ships in Key West the day you are visiting is Navy’s outer mole pier. Regardless of which dock you stop at when on a Key West Cruise you aren't too far from the action. When it comes to Key West Cruise excursions there is no shortage or options. There are tons of water based tours like sailing on a catamaran, jet skiing, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing and kayaking. If you want something more land based there are bike tours, visit an aquarium, pub crawl and the hop on and hop off Old Town Trolley. When we were researching where to go in Key West Florida we found a self guided tour of an old coast guard ship. We really enjoyed this and next time I want to go to the Hemingway Home and Museum.
