Day 1 Freedom of the Seas by Royal Caribbean - What's it Like Cruising in 2021?! Hi and welcome back to the Next Wave Cruising YouTube channel. Take a look at today's episode which highlights our vlog of Day 1 on Freedom of the Seas by Royal Caribbean. This is our first cruise in 2021 - our first since cruising reopened from the US this summer. And it was fantastic! Check out the Sailaway from Miami . . . our first night specialty dining at Chops Steakhouse (yum!) . . and a recap of our boarding process, e-muster drill and getting settled in our 'apartment at sea' (!) - a 2 bedroom Grand Suite with Aft Balcony. We have a video stateroom tour of our 2 BD Grand Suite with Aft Balcony - watch it next! Passenger capacity on our cruise ship was less than 25% . . we found out later it was actually under 20%. Like cruising on a private yacht! The crew aboard Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas were so professional, polished, hardworking and so happy to be back at work welcoming their guests. The ship is so clean . . .healthy & safety protocols were in place and working well. We'll share when we wore masks as vaccinated passengers and when we did not.
