We sail Royal caribbeans Anthem of the Seas. Our first stop was Haugesund which is considerred the gateway to the North. A Viking settlement and stronghold for hundreds of years. Avaldsnes near Haugesund was the royal residence of King Harald Fairhair (Finehair) and other kings we know from the Norse sagas. Join us as we visit places such as Visnes Copper Mine and learn of it's significance in the modern world. We visit what has been voted as the best beach in Norway for several years and also the quaint village on the southern tip of the island of Karmoy (Skudeneshavn).
