Today, the Disney Dream docks at Disney Cruise Lines' private island, Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. We are the first group to get off the ship since we are running the Castaway Cay 5k. After our run, we hit the family beach and have lunch at Cookie's barbecue. We spend the afternoon on a Sandbar Beach Adventure which is an excursion we reserved through Disney Cruise Line. Our excursion transports us via a 28-foot Zodiac rigid hull inflatable boat across the Bahamas to a private sandbar/deserted island where we snorkel and enjoy a few cocktails.
