July 24 - August 5, 2024 The Disney Dream cruise ship sails on its LONGEST Northern Europe itinerary to date! This is a day by day video montage of the cruise from beginning to end. On this sailing we got to experience the breathtaking allure of the Norwegian fjords along with the vast and diverse landscape of Iceland. Norway cruises are often compared with Alaska cruises, but in reality the two experiences are quite different. They are both charming in their own ways! The ports on the itinerary included: - Stavanger, Norway - Olden, Norway - Alesund, Norway - Reykjavik, Iceland - Isafjorder, Iceland (CANCELED) - Liverpool, United Kingdom (Replaced Isafjorder) We were originally supposed to port at Isafjorder, Iceland, but that port was cancelled due to incomplete dredging of passageway into the port. We were notified about 3 weeks prior to the cruise that we would be rerouting to Liverpool, England. Port Adventures: - Stavanger - SV01-Lysefjord Cruise - Olden - OL01-Briksdal Glacier - Alesund - AL54-Cruise To Hjorundfjord Boat Tour - Reykjavik - RY13-The Golden Circle - Adult Only Departure - Reykjavik - RY04-Countless Craters Helicopter Sightseeing (CANCELED) - Liverpool - LP05-A Taste Of Chester The shows on this sailing included: - John Kimmons - Ventriloquist - The Golden Mickeys - Jamie Raven - Magician - Pete Matthews - Juggler - Greta Salóme - Violinist - Beauty and the Beast - The Fly Boys - Disney's Believe This sailing hosted ~3,300 guests. ~600 guests were children 12 and under. The approximate max capacity of the Disney Dream is 4,000 passengers. DCL will not be sailing this itinerary in 2025, but let’s hope that they will continue it in the future! The Disney Fantasy will be taking over the European itineraries in 2025, while the Dream will return to Florida for the summer season. All food pictured in this video were included in the base cruise fare (Cabanas Buffet, Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace, Animator’s Palate).
