On our recent Southern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Magic, we visited the island of Barbados. We took part in the DCL excursion, 5-Star Catamaran and Turtle Encounter (B03). After a short bus ride, we boarded our catamaran and set sail. We sailed past the sights of Barbados before our first snorkeling stop. We had 30 minutes to snorkel. We saw some beautiful fish as we snorkeled around a shipwreck before getting back onboard and heading to our second stop. At our second stop, it was time for more snorkeling, but this time, we not only saw fish, but we also came across some turtles and stingrays. We also snorkeled with Tarpons, these fish were huge, and it was very neat to see so many of them! It was then time for lunch onboard and we were treated to a delicious buffet with fish, chicken, and pasta to name a few. After lunch, we had some time to go swimming before heading back to port. Although we didn't see as many sea turtles as hoped, we still had a great time and saw a variety of fish during our snorkel stops.
