Disney Magic: Roseau, Dominica

Can you believe it's already Day 5? This cruise is going by way too fast! Day 5 on our Southern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Magic brought us to the island of Dominica. This was another new island for us, and we had a very exciting day planned. After another breakfast at Cabanas, we headed off the ship and met up with our tour guide for the day. We had 3 stops on our excursion, the first was a hike up to Trafalgar Falls. Once we completed our short hike, we were awarded with some amazing views of the waterfalls. The viewing platform gave us great photos of both the "Papa" and "Mama" falls. Our next stop took us to Titou Gorge, where we went swimming through the gorge and were treated to a surprise waterfall at the end of our swim. We were also shown where a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Mans Chest was shot. Our final stop was to a freshwater lake for more photos and of course, rum punch! Once our excursion was over, we did a little shopping in the port area and then headed back onboard. This was our only excursion that didn't include lunch, so we had our first (and only) lunch up in Cabanas and then spent some time relaxing up at the Adults only pool with a couple of cocktails before returning to our room to clean up and get ready for the rest of our day. Our first stop after our break was to Soul Cat Lounge to play Disney Parks Trivia, we did very well, but not enough to win. After trivia, it was time for Mixology, we had fun drinking (and even had the opportunity to make one) our cocktails. We had to run from Mixology to get to the Walt Disney Theater to watch Tangled. We love this show so much! It was then time to play 2000's music trivia, where we got a 38 out of 40, but not enough for a win. We then had dinner at Rapunzel's Royal Table and got to see more floating lanterns. To end our evening, we attempted to play Disney Movie Quotes Trivia in the D-Lounge but soon found out that we were in way over our head for this trivia. So, we ducked out and headed back to Fathoms and ended our evening watching Matt Baker's Comedy and Stunt Show.
