Join us on an unforgettable embarkation day as we set sail on the Celebrity Summit for a 14-day westbound Panama Canal transit cruise from Miami, Florida to Long Beach, California! Our journey begins with an early morning one-way flight from Orlando to Miami, landing at 8 am. This was a complete 180 from our last cruise where we almost missed the ship! After arriving in Miami, we head straight to the port, eager to start our adventure. With an onboard time of 1 pm, we ended up being among the first to board at 11 am, taking advantage of Celebrity's great policy allowing us to drop off our luggage immediately. We took a brief tour of our room before heading out to explore the beautiful Celebrity Summit. Our first meal on board was at the Ocean View Cafe buffet, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch with stunning views. We then returned to our room just in time to watch the sail away from the picturesque port of Miami. This is the start of our longest and most exciting cruise yet! After exploring more of the ship, we settled in and had a delightful dinner at the buffet. The fun continued with a True or False game in the Sky Lounge, where we had a blast even though we didn't win. Our day ended with more exploration of the Celebrity Summit before heading back to our room, exhausted but thrilled from our long travel day.
