A Day in Ensenada, Mexico: La Bufadora + Margarita Birthplace + Deal Or No Deal + 80's Rock N' Glow 🌊🍸🛳️🎉 September 2025 Welcome to my West Coast Trip Vlog Series which includes 2 cruises (Carnival Firenze Mexican Riviera Cruise & Carnival Luminosa Alaskan Cruise) and a day at California Adventure & Disneyland! On this vlog, it's the first port stop of the Carnival Firenze Mexican Riviera Cruise: Ensenada, Mexico. After debarking the ship and walking around the small port area, it was time to get in line for an excursion thru Carnival Adventures: La Bufadora Adventure. The tour guide was named Alexa. She is an independent tour guide, making money from her tips. She was a great tour guide that gave us alot of facts and stories about Ensenada. The first stop on the tour was to Bar Andaluz which is located in Riviera del Pacifico (also known as Cultural Center Riviera). Riviera del Pacifico was once a popular luxury hotel from the 1930s. Alexa told us a story of how the margarita was created here. Side Note: Numerous bars lay claim to the birth of the margarita. After sampling a frozen margarita, it was back on to the bus to the La Bufadora, which is a blowhole (aka a massive marine geyser fed by a sea cave & reaching heights of over 100 ft. above sea level) and tourist attraction located on the Punta Banda Peninsula in Baja California, Mexico, about 27 km south of Ensenada. Before getting to the La Bufadora, there is a big market area that you walk through which is full of shops and samples of churros, pina colada, Mexican candy and etc. After experiencing the La Bufadora and getting a little wet (aka moist) from it, it was time to walk back through the market, stopping at a restaurant for some tacos and a Corona beer, and then back on the tour bus to head back to the cruise ship in Ensenada. Back on the cruise ship, there was a towel animal waiting in the cabin along with a gift bag from the casino. Then it was off to the Deal or No Deal show to try my luck, which I actually got picked to go on stage for a chance to win up to $1,000. Stay tuned to the next vlog to see how much I won! After Deal or No Deal, it was off to the 80's Rock N' Glow Party on the Lido Deck to listen to some cool 80's tunes and people watch to end the night. Have you been to Ensenada?
