The Princess and I are on booked on the inaugural cruise and are here with an exclusive first look at the Virgin Voyages Shore Excursions. At the cruise line's private island of Bimini, Bahamas, cruisers can rent cabanas, go snorkeling, or take a cultural tour of the island. All visitors are free to leave and return to the beach club, so you can certainly book private tours on your own. On visits to Key West, the shore excursions for Virgin Voyages focus on connecting with the people and history of the island. Walking tours, foodie tours, and pub crawls top the list of things you can do ashore. Not to mention, enjoying the crystal clear waters off the coast. As the two stops in Mexico are popular cruise destinations, Virgin Voyages offers an extensive list of shore excursions in both Cozumel and Costa Maya. Among these tours, there is a focus on the history of these ancient locales. Tours to the Mayan ruins or other ecological focused tours of national parks are among the over 65 offerings found across the two destinations. Outdoor adventures via Jeeps, ATVs, or water-based tours such as snorkeling, catamarans, and scuba diving are also available from the cruise line.
