I am loving this itinerary with all new ports for us! Today, we are in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The views coming in are amazing! You see the giant fort on the edge of the horizon first and then the city. We heard into port and start walking along the water. Our first stop is La Casita for a drink! We had to try the local beer and of course the Puerto Rican rum! Next along our stroll into Old San Juan, we come across the spot where the Pina Colada was invented.... so of course we had to try one of those too.... Walking in Old San Juan reminded me of walking through the French Quarter in New Orleans. Then on to the fort. There are two forts and both are in walking distance, but we are heading to El Morro (full name is Castillo San Felipe del Morro). This place is so cool! Built in 1539 and has with stood 400+ years of weather including hurricanes!! The fort was super neat to explore... and the views are breathtaking!! Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow!
