About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionโ
People underestimate how active a cruise can be. If you fly to your cruise port you will have a lot of walking and carrying luggage at two airports. You can easily put in 10,000 steps before you leave the airport near your embarkation port. Once you make it the terminal with your luggage in hand you have a nice long walk inside the terminal on into the ship. That can easily reach 6,000+ steps before 2:00 pm. Once onboard you will be doing a lot of walking. You have your fund your muster station. Once you complete the muster drill you will most likely want to grab lunch and a cocktail. Afterwards you will need us make the walk to your room and unpack before heading to the lido deck for the sail away party where your will participate in the Cupid shuffle and the Wobble. You will easily be beyond 10,000 steps by 5:00 pm with the entire evening ahead of you. Assuming you flew in the day before, thatโs 20,000+ steps in approximately an 24 hours. Most Americans average 3,000 - 4,000 steps per day. This is why do many people are exhausted during the first few days of their cruise. Being over weight on top of being out of shape is a formula that can make you miserable and prevent you from making the most of your cruise. I hope my example helps clarify why I decided to add this โShip Shapeโ series to our cruise ship / travel Vlog channel. Thanks for watching! Eddie
