The last leg of one of the final cruises of the legendary ACHILLE LAURO, which would burn and sink six weeks later. This video quickly recaps the first five chapters of this story, then begins in the engine control room where the chief engineer shows us the bullet holes left over from the ship's hijacking in 1985. This is followed by a visit to the bridge, then the captain's farewell party where Captain Orsi makes a speech (six weeks later, he was conducting the abandon ship procedure before being the last person to disembark), followed by a gala dinner. The next day in Naples includes a visit to the 1914-built missionary ship DOULOS and the final day sees ACHILLE LAURO return to Genoa where she passes several interesting ships, including the COSTA RIVIERA, newbuilding SILVER WIND, ITALIA PRIMA and GRUZIYA.
