The Carnival Dream and Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas were scheduled to depart Galveston yesterday afternoon but dense fog once again and it has forced the port to close. Both ships sailed as soon as the port reopened, about three hours late. Their schedules were further hampered as neither ship was able to gain full speed until roughly 2AM CST due to the foggy conditions. Both ships are hopeful in meeting their itineraries on time.
