And even better than the landscapes and water are all the amazing wildlife creatures. When you read that the animals of the Galapagos Islands aren't afraid of humans being nearby, it's TRUE! We were so up close to the animals and sea life of the Galapagos, it was truly amazing! We'll show you what we saw and how great it was to be able to take photos and video of our Galapagos experiences! We also show you Santa Cruz and the town we visited on the last day of our cruise tour. It was lovely! We visited the Darwin Research Station where large Galapagos tortoises are being bred to continue to bring back the population of these creatures to better levels. We drove high up into the countryside to help Celebrity Cruises plant trees in the local forest, giving back and helping preserve the beauty and health of the Galapagos. We also experienced a wonderful lunch and show from the local people at Rancho el Manzanilla, a natural habitat for the giant tortoises - not to be missed!
