During each sailing of the Grandeur of the Seas the crew gather together to take pride in the nations they represent. At the moment the Grandeur is the only ship to do so. Normally this would be held up on the pool deck but due to the dense fog, winds, and rain the event was moved inside to the Centrum on the May 17th 7 night Bermuda sailing. This event is a huge source of pride for the crew and considered a big deal to them as even the captain and other high ranking officers take the time to participate and carry their native flags. Just 72 hours after this event the Grandeur of the Seas suffered a serious fire on the mooring deck and these men and women along with the other 700 crew members onboard were responsible for ensuring the safety of all the passengers. They are now tasked with the tough challenge of giving up their usual jobs to work and repair the great ship that they love.
