This is a review of the veranda type cabin 8046 on Holland America's Rotterdam, one of the newest ships on the fleet. We took the Rotterdam from Amsterdam to Norway where we enjoyed some spectacular views from our balcony. The balcony cabin is located mid-ship, facing portside. It's one deck below the Lido buffet area and the spa/gym area, so these are easy to get to by walking up one flight of stairs. The cabin was quiet and very stable. We did not feel any out-of-the-ordinary movements from waves during our entire sailing. Holland America cabin stewards also provide great services to guests and stand above some of the other major cruise lines. We hope you enjoy this short review of our Holland America veranda cabin and wish you happy sailings!
