We are in Reykjavik, Iceland for the inaugural cruise of Norwegian Prima! But while here, we want to do some exploring as well! We wake up very early in the morning to hop on a bus at 7:30 AM to Blue Lagoon. This is such a beautiful spot that we just had to see it for ourselves. And we have heard it can get very busy so it's best to go first thing in the morning. You think that walking outside in a swimsuit when it's 50 degrees outside would be really cold... but as soon as you get into the warm water, all is right in the world! The water is a milky blue color and is so warm. We had to try a mud silica mask... that was so weird! But is really good for your skin! As soon as we arrived back at port from Blue Lagoon, we immediately jumped into an off-road vehicle for a very interesting ride! We went straight up the side of the mountain. It was CRAZY!! This excursion took us to three different spots around Iceland with beautiful overlooks and one where we could even walk on the lava fields! When back on the ship, we were in for a special night! This was the naming ceremony for the new NCL Prima. We heard from NCL and met the ship's godmother, Katy Perry.
