A few weeks ago on my Alaska cruise with Princess Cruiseline we had a port of call cancellation of Skagway. The Discovery Princess made a stop instead at a port called Icy Strait Point which turned out to be amazing. Currently as of yesterday the port in Skagway is still having trouble with the land slide that happened in mid June 2022 so more ships will be making stops in Icy Strait Point coming up this Alaskan Cruise season. Icy Strait Point had so much to offer for excursions and activities onshore. It was so much fun to get an real alaskan feel with the village of Hoonah what a beautiful spot it was.
