Join me for a walk around Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines on December 10, 2025 while on a port stop on Explora Journeys, Explora I cruise ship. This was a Facebook Live video, taken while wearing my Ray Ban Meta glasses, over an LTE cell connection, so video is not high quality, but it's good enough to give you a feel of the general area surrounding the port if you're curious to see what it's like and whether it's worth exploring on your own. While my other video from Bequia, SVG showed a much nicer part of the country, with beautiful beachfront homes, a nice path along the water, and an awesome beach... Kingstown is a bit on the rough side. You'll see in this walk around video that it's very much a town for locals, not tourists. It's very crowded, everyone is out selling SOMETHING, and there's lots of partying going on. While it looks kinds of sketchy, I didn't feel unsafe and none of the locals tried to sell me anything.
