Was this flight our last time flying on a British Airways Boeing 747? This was intended to be a review of the BA World Traveller Plus service but little did we know what was about to ensue. As a result of the grounding, it looks like the British Airways fleet of Boeing 747โ€™s will be retired early and we may not fly on this classic plane ever again. Here is the trip report: British Airways World Traveller Plus Service from London Heathrow LHR to New York JFK. The BA World Traveller Plus is the British Airways Premium Economy service. The flight was on the 11.25 am from on an old Boeing 747-400, we were in seats 35A and 35B of the premium economy cabin. You do not get access to a lounge with World Traveller Plus and board in group 3 after first and business class. Although you do get a glass of sparkling wine when you do get seated. The seats on the side were 2 in a row instead of the economy 3 in a row. All seats have a USB socket and a power socket. The food options were good and they were served on proper plates with metal cutlery. Lunch was served with an afternoon pizza shortly before landing. Although the screens were not the biggest the BA entertainment system was surprisingly good with a lot of choices including new releases and some old classics. The BA 747 was not a new plane but our overall experience of World Traveller Plus was good and we would book it again and in our opinion, it was worth the additional price (which includes two checked bags). Just to clarify, we were not sponsored in any way and paid for all costs ourselves,. โ€˜British Airways World Traveller Plus, London To New York โ€˜ - Filmed Feb 2020 SOME OTHER VIDEO SUGGESTIONS: ๐ŸŽฅ Virgin Atlantic Economy To New York https://youtu.be/ddtqoBHrNxY ๐ŸŽฅ Visiting The USA Videos https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvLoC9ZcTe_SLaKFg65aqWAJenDxJ3qXI MERCH ๐Ÿ‘• FlyDriveExplore MERCH โ€œYes, We are tourists T-Shirtsโ€: https://teespring.com/stores/fly-drive-explore EQUIPMENT ๐Ÿ”ด Wonder what cameras and kit we use, please check our UK Amazon Page: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/flydriveexplore USA Amazon Page: https://www.amazon.com/shop/flydriveexplore More Travel Videos Added Weekly - Not All Vloggers Say โ€˜HiGuys!!!!!!โ€™ Couples travel, hotels, flight reviews, city breaks, luxury travel and various other travel-related stuff.
