Individuals will need to wear face masks indoors where crowding can occur. This latest Carnival Cruise line news revealed that the face mask policy is in effect for all cruisers, even those that are vaccinated. Further, starting on August 14th, Carnival Cruise line is going to require cruisers have proof of a negative COVID-19 test! This COVID-19 test must be take no further than 3 days prior to the cruise embarkation. The cruise line's ambassador indicated that the new face mask policy is in line with other organizations, such as Disney World and Walmart, that are reinstating face mask requirements. Although, this face mask policy change in this Carnival Cruise update is a bit surprising. The cruise line waivered early on about requiring vaccines to cruise. It ultimately decided on requiring individuals be vaccinated on cruises to limit the number of health and safety protocols.
