Creator's Key Takeaways
The staff are the best in the business. Every single one. Not had a single complaint.
Overall, really enjoy the quality of the food. Only downfall is the buffet, but generally I'm not really a big fan of the buffets just generally.
We'll definitely do Mela again. I can say that much.
I think my favorite holiday that we've had.

Hi everyone, In today's video we reach the end of our Marella Discovery Exotic Islands Caribbean cruise series. We arrived in #barbados and thankfully had a few hours before we needed to think about leaving. We were going to have breakfast in the MDR but only sharing tables were left so we went to the Snack Shack for a final time. After this we went to the Squid and Anchor to complete immigration and also drop off our hand luggage and check out a towel to take off the ship for a few hours. We decided to walk into Bridgetown and after doing that once would probably just get a bus or taxi straight away next time but we are glad we did it once. We enjoyed looking around and exploring on our own and the locals were so so friendly! We found the National Heroes Square where we read about Rihanna amongst other names. After a little bit more of an explore we decided to risk the weather and make our way to Carlisle Bay. We are so glad we came here, it was the most stunning beach we had ever been too. White sands and beautiful turquoise water it was just like you'd see on a screensaver! Absolute paradise. We got 2 sun loungers and a parasol for $20 which we thought was very reasonable and we loved where we were seated. We tried a few different beers and a very lethal rum cocktail and enjoyed watching the world go by. We had a slight paddle/ walk along the sea but couldn't go for a dip today sadly. We definitely will come back here for longer next time, it was amazing and so picturesque. After a few hours it was time to go back to the ship. We picked up our hand luggage and went to the Glass House for one final lunch and an Estrella. We then give our review of our time on board whilst it was still fresh in our minds. As we say in this video we will be doing a more in depth video review on the ship/this cruise and that will be on the channel in the next couple of weeks. We had the most amazing time on board #marellacruises and would definitely like to book another Marella Discover cruise in the near future! We hope you enjoyed today's video and the full series, if you did we would really appreciate it if you would 'like' the video as it really helps! And if you would like to follow along with our future adventures it would be amazing if you would 'subscribe' to the channel!
