Welcome to our Marigot, Saint Martin Vlog! 🇫🇷 Join us as we visit the French side of the beautiful island of Saint Martin. If you're stopping at Philipsburg cruise port and want to explore beyond the Dutch side, this vlog is your perfect guide! We stopped at Philipsburg cruise port on the Dutch side of the island known as St Maarten and we were keen to see the French side of Saint Martin too. We opted for a cruise excursion to Marigot. Marigot is the capital of St Martin, a French territory which shares the island with Dutch St Maarten. The island is uniquely the only place where France and The Netherlands share a border. Our cruise excursion took us to the city of Marigot where we visited the bustling Marigot Market. We also considered visiting Fort St Louis which overlooks the city and has amazing views over Marigot Bay and Saint Martin. Most cruise ships dock in Philipsburg on the Dutch side but Marigot is not far. It's quite easy to take in Marigot and Maho Beach on the same day, which is what we did! Many cruise excursions even offer visits to both Marigot and Maho Beach on their itineraries. We really enjoyed our cruise excursion to Marigot and our visit to St Martin!
