Medevac from Carnival Dream

A US Coast Guard helicopter hoisted a passenger from the deck of Carnival Dream on May 14, 2019, when it was 66 miles off the coast of Galveston (Texas), taking him to a medical facility in Galveston. In this video you first see the Coast Guard rescue swimmer lowered to the deck of the cruise ship, followed by the hoist of passenger and the return of the rescue swimmer. As always, note the precision with which the Coast Guard pilot is flying to keep the helicopter aligned over the deck of the moving cruise ship. (The forward speed can be seen in the water as the helicopter moves over the deck and away from it at the beginning and end of the operation.) As always, the Coast Guard makes this difficult operation look easy.
