Mediterranean Cruise, Villefrance and Nice

5 Nights Western Mediterranean Cruise onboard Liberty of the Seas, April 2013. At 10 o'clock we went down to the tender deck - here was a long line and it took almost an hour before we were inside Villefrance. Outside the harbor was Sovereign, which today is owned by Pullman Tours, but Sovereign was the ship we sailed on our very first cruise in 1996 - back then it was owned by Royal Caribbean. On arrival in the Villefrance we went up to the center of town and took bus # 100 to Nice - a trip of about 15 minutes to € 1,00. In Nice, we walked around the old town, past the flower market and along the beach. Back in the old town we found a cozy cafe - Blandine, 8 Rue du Pont Vieux (www.lescauseriesdeblandine.com/). Here we ate lunch. After walking through the old town, we took the bus #100 back to Villefrance. We walked around the town before we took a tender back to Liberty.
