muster has always been a necessary evil necessary because it's legally required evil because it's one of the most boring things that you could do before you start a cruise

anything that increases the experience on board and makes things easier for passengers is always a win

Creator's Tips & Advice

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Descriptionโ†“

Royal Caribbean have developed a brand new way to get through muster onboard their cruise ships. Taking full advantage of technology, Muster 2.0 will allow passengers to bypass the traditional, lengthy in-person safety drill. Each passenger will have a four hour window before sailing to complete a digital version of muster via an app on their smartphone, or via the smart TV in their stateroom. Once complete, passengers need to walk to their actual muster location onboard the ship so they can be asked a couple of questions to confirm their understanding of the muster process and be checked off a list. Simple, easy and much better for everyone! What do you think of this change? Are you happy about it? Let me know in the comments below!
