Considered to be one of the first mega ships, the Norway was launched in 1960 as the ocean liner France. In 1980 Norwegian Cruise Line rebuilt the France as a cruise ship, the largest of her time, and renamed her Norway. In this video, they detail her 1990 renovation which was comprehensive as competition from Royal Caribbean's Sovereign class proved fierce. The Norway was scrapped in 2007/2008.
