New MSC Cruise Ship | MSC Bellissima arrives in Southampton for her naming ceremony 01/03/19

Early this morning Friday 1st March 2019 Southampton welcomed the arrival of the latest MSC Cruise Ship "MSC Bellissima" from Saint Nazaire in France where she was built and was given a water spray escort from the Svitzer tugs Alma & Harty. She had an estimated arrival time of 07:25am at the City Cruise Terminal and the MSC Container Ship "MSC Vidhi" was waiting in berth 102 to meet "MSC Bellissima" and tomorrow Saturday 2nd March 2019 the "MSC Bellissima" will be officially named in Southampton by the actress Sophia Loren and the singer Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo will be singing to as part of the entertainment. She will be in port until Sunday 3rd March when she will depart at 16:00pm for a short channel cruise for the Travel Agents etc who will be on board and return again on the 4th March then finally depart Southampton at 19:00pm.
