North Star Premium Experience |Royal Caribbean| OVATION of the Seas extends us high above the ship for unforgettable 360-degree views the INSIDE PASSAGE on our Alaska Cruise. It is called a Premium Experience because of the location of the ride which lasts 16- 20 minutes. It is amazing to board a eye-like structure and be shown the ship from a bird's eye view from 300 feet above sea level! It is the winner of the Guinness World Record for tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship - and take in views of the ocean, ship, and Alaska's incredible scenery. It is difficult to take pictures through the windows, it is heavily filtered! It holds about 9 people at a time. The non-premium experience is not in any particular area and is more focused on the actual ship from above. The non-premium experience was $29 dollars. RESTRICTIONS Must be at least 42 inches tall or 48 to ride alone and weight a maximum of 300 lbs. **It operates when it is not windy or rainy!
