Norwegian Cruise Line made waves late last week when they announced that three of the ships in their fleet, the Norwegian Star, Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Breakaway, have all recently completed an extensive dry dock renovation. NCL made some adjustments to the offerings onboard all three of these vessels, and Cruise.com's Matt Mramer is here to walk you through all of the changes you have to look forward to, starting with the Norwegian Breakaway. Unveiled in 2013, the Breakaway is the newest ship that NCL decided to make changes to, and they started by replacing the Fat Cats Jazz & Blurs Club with Syd Norman's Pour House, a new rock-themed music bar. In addition, NCL revamped the Bliss Ultra Lounge with a sleek new look and brought the Breakaway up to date with new carpeting all throughout the ship. The Norwegian Sun made some impressive changes, starting with the addition of Los Lobos Mexican Cantina in the place of Las Ramblas. The Dazzles Nightclub was also redesigned and renamed as the Bliss Ultra Lounge to match the nightclub venue on many other NCL ships. The Spinnaker Lounge also got an awesome facelift with new colors and decor bringing new life to the space. Last but not least, the Sun got a major technology upgrade with USB ports and Smart TVs in every stateroom. The Norwegian Star also has big news onboard with the addition of Spice H2O, a popular venue amongst the adults who cruise with NCL. With hot tubs and and covered bar, this adults-only oasis will turn into the place to be by night so make sure you don't miss out! The Sky High Bar on the top deck takes the place of the Bier Garten and the Spinnaker Lounge was outfitted with a new design and a new name, you guessed it, the Bliss Ultra Lounge. And of course, the Star also got all the same upgrades throughout the ship as the Sun and the Breakaway.
