In this episode we visit MSC's private island and marine reserve #oceancay in the #bahamas ! This pristine island features over two miles of white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, offering a variety of activities such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. The island is designed with an emphasis on environmental sustainability and marine conservation, featuring a dedicated marine reserve and coral nursery. You can enjoy a relaxing beach day, explore nature trails, visit the island's spa, or enjoy one of the several beach snack shacks or buffet. During our visit, we first bring you up the 100 foot lighthouse for some amazing views of the island followed by a walk around all the various locations including #bimini beach, #sunset beach, sunset bar, and the various beaches surrounding the lagoon. Unfortunately our kayak excursion was cancelled due to winds but it was a beautiful day despite the wind (sorry for the occasional wind noise in this video!) The highlight was the evening lighthouse light show which was a very unique event in the world of cruise line entertainment! We give you a sneak peek toward the end of this video. It was then back on board for Caribbean night in the main dining room, followed by a production show called #thejourney in the main theatre. We also receive a warning from the captain about some pending bad weather which we will cover in an upcoming video.
