Our FIRST PORT and ISSUES with Dining on AMBASSADOR Ambience - DAY 3 VLOG

Day 3 was our first port, Kirkwall in Orkney. We ate our meals in the Borough Market and Buckingham Restaurant and we start to question if we have chosen the best dining sitting. We also went to see a fantastic show performed by the onboard team in the Palladium Theatre. We visited the town in the morning and walked around some of the historic sights. In the afternoon we went on an organised excursion, this was gifted to us by Ambassador Cruise Line. We visited the Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae and Skaill House and we blown away by what we found. Ambassador Ambience sailed around the British Isles and we were onboard for 11 nights. Ambassador Cruise Line currently has two ships in operation Ambience and Ambition. We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked. Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us. We have created a list of our cruise essentials.
