About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionโ
We sailed on the Norwegian Encore December 17-24, 2023 from Miami to the Caribbean. We had Haven accommodations and we wanted to share this video showing some of the highlights of our experience with the Haven, Norwegian's Ship-within-a-ship concept. This isn't meant to be a comprehensive review of the Haven or our cabin, but, rather, highlights of our personal experiences. Being right before Christmas, the Encore was packed at somewhere over 4,800 passengers, way above its double occupancy capacity of 3,998 passengers. There were several families and multi-families sailing together for the holidays. It was the perfect time for us to be booked at the Haven to see how different the experience would be. We stayed at the Haven Spa Suite 15264, which was at the aft stern side of the ship, deck 15. This was outside the main Haven enclosure in the forward from Decks 17-19, but it was right under the spa and gym area. This cabin had a spa/jacuzzi inside, a balcony, and came with full access to the Mandara Spa area, which included an inside pool, hot bath, sauna, steam room, salt room, snow room, cushioned and heated loungers, as well as lockers for men and women. Spa access isn't included in any other Haven type rooms (unfortunately, Norwegian is removing spa access starting in 2024, so this was one of the last times this benefit would be available to Spa Suites). Hope you find this video informative, especially if you're considering booking a Haven cabin in your cruise. Feel free to drop any questions in the comments. Happy sailings into 2024!!!
