Overwater Bungalow at Manava Resort, Moorea | Watching Fish Under the Table!!

This is an overwater bungalow at Mananva Beach Resort and Spa on Moorea. My sister and I stayed there last year and we went back this year during the World Cruise for an overnight stop in Papeete, Tahiti, so we booked an overwater bungalow that also had a mountain view. The rooms are beautiful and the deck right on the lagoon is stunning. The best part is the glass-bottom table where you can watch fish swim by. We could spend hours just watching the fish! We love the Manava and were thrilled to be back! We got a brief but strong rain shower, then an orange sunset to end our day. In the dark, fish are attracted to the lights on the bungalows. The bed is big and comfy and there is a tub and shower. It was so nice to have a bathtub after being on a cruise ship for a couple of months. The rich wood finishes feel luxurious and there are flowers left on the bed and in the bathroom. We think this hotel is special.
