We sailed with "the world's most luxurious cruise line" (Regent Seven Seas) onboard the SEVEN SEAS SPLENDOR for a full transit of the Panama Canal... on Christmas Day! Sailing through the canal with a small ship definitely has its pros and cons. Join us as we take you on our journey. This trip was a family trip, and a bucket list adventure. Our family of 10 made the voyage in honor Diana's grandfather, WWII veteran Charles Preston, who we lovingly called Poppy. It was his life-long dream to visit the canal, though sadly he never had a chance before passing in 2020. However, he was with us in spirit AND in bobblehead form as we made our way from the Atlantic to the Pacific Oceans. Hear the full story here in our video!
