We boarded an air-conditioned motor coach by 9:30 AM and arrived at the eco-friendly Rockland Estate, a 100-acre adventure park with great historical significance to the island of St. Maarten, which we could learn about through the on-site plantation house and related museum . And than hop on the Sky Explorer, an impressive chairlift, and view St. Maarten from a different perspective as we really enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and of course snap a lots of pictures of the island’s gorgeous peaks and valleys. Soak in the beautiful vistas from atop the hill and descend back down for some free time to explore the park’s gift shop before checking out photos from our adventure and returning to our cruise ship.
