Arvia is British cruise line P&O Cruises new cruise ship which launched 3 months ago. I was lucky to be on it for the ship's naming ceremony in the Caribbean this week and I stayed in a category of cabin called the Conservatory Mini-Suite which was introduced on sister ship Iona a year ago. This video offers a full tour and inside look at the mini-suite which is a mid-way cabin option, pricier than a regular balcony room, but cheaper than a higher-category suite. And in my opinion it's definitely worth the splurge. The cabin consists of four compartments (five if you include the bathroom): the bedroom, the lounge, the conservatory and the balcony. The tour looks at everything in detail, from the comfort of the bed and the linen, to the storage space, to the vanity area and plug sockets (which are British) to the White Company toiletries which are both in the bathroom - all mini-suite guests are also gifted a box of lovely White Company toiletries. The conservatory is a lovely extra addition to the cabin - it didn't rain while I was there, but had the weather been inclement this conservatory would have been even MORE welcome. Plus you can cordon off the conservatory with curtains to separate it from the bedroom area - this is great for families. Oh, and there's also a coffee making machine in the cabin.
