Creator's Key Takeaways
breakfast was really nice i went for eggs benedict which just tasted great
the bathroom is quite a nice size we do have one issue with it and that is that you can see it right there it is a curtain uh shower curtain instead of a glass shower
the best thing about this room is the balcony so let's head on out there so it is quite a large balcony
it was time to enter the sea lock to join the 27 kilometer long north sea channel that links amsterdam with the sea

Well Hello There! Welcome to our Day 2 Vlog onboard Ventura - our 4 night P&O Cruise to Amsterdam! CHECK OUT OUR VENTURA PAGE HERE: https://www.georgeanddan.com/poventura In this weeks vlog we begin the day by heading down to Saffron Restaurant to enjoy some breakfast before taking a quick walk around the ship to see what was on offer onboard. We visited Fortunes as well as The Exchange before stopping by the Arena Theatre. On our return to the cabin, we decided to do a quick cabin tour. Seeing as we had lived in the cabin for some time, we thought it would be a great way to give you our honest feedback on how practical the cabin was to use and live in. We really did like the cabin, yes it was in need of a refurb and some furniture was dated. The placement of the UK plugs in the cabin left something to be desired, however, we made it work, and ended up feeling very comfortable in the cabin, and the beds, well, they were extremely comfortable! We then visited the Buffet (of course) to have a little bite for lunch, and was once again impressed with the quality of food onboard. As the evening creeped up on us, we arrived into Amsterdam! Due to the smaller size of Ventura, we were able to use the Sea Lock connecting Amsterdam to the Sea, however, on some larger ships, it may be that your cruise will dock at a port on the coast, and then provide a shuttle service into the city. We felt very lucky to be able to be docked in such close proximity to the city centre! We weren't planning on leaving the ship the evening that we arrived as we had made plans to get up early the next day, so instead we popped to the Terrace Bar for a drink, followed by the Buffet for some dinner. We then took a casual stroll around a now extremely quiet ship, taking in some of the promenade views, and watching some entertainment in Havana. We hope you enjoyed this weeks vlog, join us next time as we venture into Amsterdam nice and early in the morning! Don't forget to like, and subscribe for more cruise content coming soon!
