Creator's Key Takeaways
It's a beautiful old town down um about 4ks away from the port if you're um up for a walk or there is a local bus.
We've had a great walk along the waterfront and a great walk back through town and a very good look around.
It's a lovely day. Great to spend the day on the beach.
The Gothic pointed architecture is stunning and these peers were designed to imitate the palm trees prevalent on the island.

Hi Friends! Welcome to episode fourteen of our Africa series. In this episode we visit Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, our second port in the Canary Islands. It was a public holiday (bank holiday) when we visited so there wasn't a lot open but we made the most of it and walked up to the old town to look at the grand architecture and saw some beautiful beaches and gardens along the way.
