Norwegian Cruise Line is further expanding their Prima Class ship platform with the 3rd Generation following original ships Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva and the Prima Plus ships Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. The brand new Norwegian Aura will be 10% larger than Prima Plus ships with a host of new amenities, activities and family-focused experiences. The signature element is Ocean Heights, an all-new open air activities complex featuring Eclipse Racers, dueling mat racing waterslides, Aura Free fall, a drop body waterslide and The Wave family raft slide. Rounding off the exciting things to do onboard there’s The Drop, a dry slide that goes from Deck 18 to 8, the 82 foot Aura Ropes Course, 25 foot rock wall and Aura Midway outdoor amusement area. After a introductory transatlantic voyage, Norwegian Aura will commence sailing from Miami starting June 2027 for her inaugural Caribbean season.
