"Queen Elizabeth" departs from Southampton on her Maiden Voyage - 12/10/2010

After spending the night on-board, I disembarked the "Queen Elizabeth" on the morning of Tuesday 12th 2010. I later returned to the Town Quay to see her depart on her Maiden Voyage. As she left the 'Ocean Cruise Terminal', she was escorted by a flotilla of small ships and boats including ones that had been chartered. These included one of the 'Red Funnel' ferries, the 'Blue Funnel' tourist boats, the SS "Shieldhall" and the Paddle-Steamer "Waverley".
