"Queen Elizabeth", "Saga Sapphire" & "Queen Mary 2" in Southampton - 10/01/2015

A very windy day in Southampton Docks meant a change to some of the cruise ship's schedules on Saturday 10th January 2015. The major change was the return of CUNARD's "Queen Elizabeth" from her 4-night cruise to Hamburg. Originally due to arrive in the early hours of the morning, she was delayed due to high winds and arrived at the 'Ocean' Terminal around 15:30. She was assisted by the tugs "Svitzer Sarah" & "Svitzer Surrey". The other two ships had arrived without incident. The first to depart again was Saga Holidays' "Saga Sapphire" from the 'City' Terminal at 16:08 on a 15-night cruise to the Canary Islands & the Moroccan Coast, returning to Southampton on Sunday 25th January. The second to depart was CUNARD's "Queen Mary 2" from the 'QEII' Terminal at 18:33 on her 113-night World Cruise, returning to Southampton on Sunday 3rd May. "Queen Elizabeth" was due to depart sometime between 22:00 and 23:00 on her own 113-night World Cruise, also returning to Southampton on May 3rd.
