Queen Mary 2 Sailaway World Cruise 118 Nights with Fireworks Southampton 10/1/17

Cunard's, Queen Mary 2 sailed out of Southampton today from Ocean Cruise Terminal for her 118 Night World Eastern Exploration Cruise, she departed the Terminal at 18:08pm and after she had backed out and headed past dockhead she was given a farewell firework display for the benefit of the passengers on board, it is a tradition to have fireworks on these world cruises. As she left her berth she gave 6 blasts on her ships horn and more to follow as she sailed further away from town quay from where this was viewed from, Queen Mary 2 will not be back here in Southampton until 8th May.
